1 CORINTHIANS 13:4–8A

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (NIV)

ROUGH DAY

I’m trying and you didn’t respond. You’re not even giving me a chance. You don’t want to speak, that’s fine. You place me into a crappy situation and try to walk it off without resolving it, then be my guest. I guess silence is golden? Don’t be surprised if I don’t respond. If you think you can do this to me and expect something of me later on, then you thought wrong. Think before you speak because this situation has happened before. If I have to apologize for something as stupid as this, you must be out of your mind. I’m sitting here waiting as usual, but I bet if you were to be in my position you wouldn’t do the same for me. You can only be patient for so long, enough of the nonsense. The last thing you said to me was, “ttyl… ” I guess I’ll see you tomorrow, because I’m tired of being treated this way. You say you want me around, but your actions tell me other wise. Enough of this rant, time to relax.

NANUET

It’s been a fantastic week at Nanuet, NY. Before my arrival, I thought it was similar to the city. I expected it to be crowded, full of lights, and the streets to be loud. But I was absolutely wrong. It was a small town just like Cranston. The people I met were very civilized. I only spent a week here and I’m in no rush to leave. Everyone welcomed me with opened arms and treated me as an equal. I hope to come back again this following summer to visit. It was a pleasure meeting Jessica, Vinod, Sean, Vanessa, and Liv. Of course this all wouldn’t have been possible if I didn’t have my wonderful girlfriend. Thanks for everything this following week. I appreciate you having to deal with my driving as I know nothing about these roads in Nanuet. Also, thank you for introducing me to your great circle of friends. Having the opportunity to spend the whole week with you has been a gift. You made sure my experience here was fun and it was a success! I thank you so much! Lastly, a special thanks to your parents. From the first day they met me, they immediately welcomed me into your household. Your father and mother were very kind and also cook great tasting food. I thank them so much for having me live under their roof for a week.

4:13 AM

We have finally completed the dying process of her hair … for now. I think we dyed it three times today. Though it has not yet come out to be blonde, we will get back to it sometime tomorrow. The dying process was long, but was fun to see the shade change over the course of three hours.

MAY 26TH 2012

It has been a while since I last blogged. In the times that I have not, I just didn’t feel the need to. Honestly, I feel as if I never really blog about the positive aspects of my life. The times that I actually blog is when I’m suffering from a problem or when I’m extremely angry. In this particular blog post, I’m stating that life has just been going so well. Life has become more organized and I’m finally coming to my senses. I’ve stepped up to the plate and I’m ready to take on the fast ball.

GOALS FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR: find a job, save money for a summer trip(travel), make a video, take multiple photos, update my tumblr, complete transfer process, build up portfolio, draw, and find an internship.

THE START OF SUMMER / MOTHER’S DAY

The sun is beginning to shine and the weather is on the verge of becoming warmer. This morning felt unusual. It wasn’t the bad type of unusual but more of the good. I woke up in a fantastic mood. Yes, I was awaken by the yelling of both my father and grandmother but I went down casually and just said “Happy Mother’s Day,” to both my mother and grandmother. They had a huge smile on both of their faces as my brother and I presented them their gifts. We bought our mom a watch and my grandma the four leg attachment for her cane. So far the morning started off well and I’m hoping that this day will also end well! Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there! Let’s show our appreciation for all the times they had to put up with us.
